Join us to learn the history and to see some of it’s amazing monuments and to check out the native plants, birds, mammals and more! The 10K tour adds lakefront on the breakers and amazing city views!

On this Chicago Lincoln Park & Lakefront tour, we come across Lincoln Park which is nearly 1200 acres and it lies along the lakefront from Ohio Street Beach in the Streeterville neighborhood, northward to Ardmore Avenue in Edgewater. This tour focuses on the original lands of the park from North Ave to Diversey Harbor.
We’ll start with park history including the Standing Lincoln monument and Grant monument and then will head north to Albert Caldwell Lily Pond. We’ll head out to the lakefront and run the breakers up to Belmont Harbor where there are sweeping city views. Then, we’ll head to North Pond.
We’ll loop back past the Lincoln Park Conservatory, Formal Gardens and the Lincoln Park Zoo. The last stop is the Nature Boardwalk where photo ops abound!
