Hello! My name is Leo!
I was born in Plitvice Lakes and live within walking distance of the Park. In absence of big city lights and in abundance of nature, I live the Park 365 days in a year - running, hiking and fishing. My love for running emerged when I was a small child playing football, and I was faster than the older kids. Soon after I ran my first race and fell in love with running, to the extent that today I only watch football on TV. My passion for nature and running resulted in founding the Athletic Club in Plitvice Lakes. As a licensed Plitvice Lakes tour guide and a person who knows the area better than my own pocket, I am happy to take you to all the hidden gems, unmarked viewpoints in the Park, and tell you some extraordinary facts you can't find in any travel guide.
